Nigerian Poetry have fully made, From the lustrous musical choral of traditional chant to the modern era. The Nigerian poetic stage has evolved remarkable.Historical writers attribute the development of poetry to the west because Nigerians did not record event that took place during the period of antiquity in written form. Nigerian oral tradition from the from the time of Homer was still thriving. African poems were transferred to the people through oral tradition, and they still survive till this day.
